In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update 18th April 2025, Ruhi saves Armaan’s clothes from getting wet by the water dripping from the AC. Then she picks up his clothes and holds them close to her chest.
Kiara Meets Charu
Kiara comes to meet Charu. Charu asks why she came so early in the morning. Kiara says she had some free time, so she decided to visit. When Kiara asks why Charu had called her, Charu says, “Can’t I even call my own sister?”
Kiara then asks if Charu misses her. Charu says yes, she does. She also shares that Krish has joined the Poddar firm. Kiara is shocked and says that Sanjay must have forced Krish. But Charu explains that Krish joined by his own choice.
Krish Joins Poddar Firm
Abhira and Armaan are also surprised to see Krish at the Poddar firm. Armaan warns Krish not to believe Sanjay. But Krish replies that he joined the firm willingly. Sanjay only showed him the way.
Abhira Tries to Feel a Mother’s Pain
Abhira ties a pillow to her stomach to feel the physical pain of becoming a mother. While doing this, she listens to music and dances. During the dance, she goes to the balcony and falls.
Vidya rushes to her and asks if she’s hurt. The pillow falls off, and Vidya realizes Abhira was trying to experience a mother’s pain using the pillow. Just then, Kaveri comes in and scolds Abhira, saying that a pillow can’t help her understand what motherhood feels like.
Kaveri Scolds Abhira
Kaveri tells Abhira that she can never understand a mother’s pain and should not insult motherhood with such acts. She adds that the baby won’t recognize Abhira, but will recognize Ruhi, because a baby first connects with the person whose heartbeat it hears.
Abhira replies that it’s not true. She says that Vidya didn’t give birth to Armaan, but she is still his mother. Kaveri then says Vidya was only his mother until Shivani came. After Shivani came, Armaan left Vidya. Vidya even apologized and bowed before Shivani, but Armaan only returned after Shivani’s death. Hearing this, Vidya becomes emotional.
Emotional Breakdown of Vidya and Abhira
Later, Vidya cries in her room, and Abhira cries in hers. Ruhi sees them and feels sad. She goes to Kaveri and requests her to console them. But Kaveri says it’s impossible.
Ruhi says Kaveri was wrong to speak such hurtful words. Kaveri then tells Ruhi that she also made a mistake by becoming a surrogate. Ruhi says she went through a lot of pain after Rohit, and now that Pookie is coming, Daksh will get a sibling.
Kaveri Warns Ruhi
Kaveri tells Ruhi that she is being unfair to Daksh as well. Ruhi will raise someone else’s baby and won’t be able to give full attention to Daksh. She also says that after Pookie is born, Armaan and Abhira will forget Ruhi. This makes Ruhi silent.
It seems like Ruhi is beginning to believe Kaveri’s words.
