In today’s episode Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update 26th April 2025, Abhira is preparing at night for Kaveri’s birthday which is the next day. While she is busy with the arrangements, Ruhi enters the kitchen. She comments, “God has given only two hands to humans, how will you manage all this alone?”
Abhira tells her it’s Kaveri’s birthday tomorrow, that’s why she’s doing everything. Abhira then asks Ruhi what she’s doing in the kitchen at night. Ruhi says she couldn’t sleep and came to get water. Abhira gives her the water and says she could’ve just told her.
Ruhi asks if she can help, but Abhira refuses and tells her to sit and relax.
Kiara Falls Sick – Swarna Gets Worried
Kiara has a fever. Swarna checks her temperature. Just then, Abhir comes and asks if Kiara is alright. Swarna gets upset and asks him where he was and why his phone was switched off. Then she tells him to talk to Manish and walks away.
Abhir jokes and asks Kiara, “Did you get fever just by hearing the word divorce?” Kiara replies that she doesn’t want a divorce.
Abhira Cuts Dragon Fruit for Armaan
In the kitchen, Abhira sees a dragon fruit and asks Ruhi to pass it so she can cut it for Armaan. Ruhi offers to cut it, but Abhira refuses. Ruhi says, “Can’t I even do this much for Armaan?”
Abhira replies that Ruhi doesn’t know how Armaan likes to eat it. While Abhira carefully cuts the fruit, Ruhi watches her. Abhira asks her why she is staring. Ruhi says, “You’re putting so much effort into this, but Armaan won’t even notice.”
Temple Pooja and Birthday Surprise
In the morning, at the home temple, Abhira and Kaveri perform pooja. Abhira wishes Kaveri a happy birthday and she says thank you.
Downstairs, everyone is decorating for the celebration. Suddenly, a balloon bursts. Kaveri hears the sound and goes downstairs. Abhira tries to stop her, but Kaveri sees everyone preparing for her birthday.
Kaveri Cuts the Cake – Armaan Takes Rohit’s Place
Everyone wishes Kaveri a happy birthday. She becomes emotional and thanks everyone. Abhira tells her the celebration was supposed to happen in the afternoon, but now that the surprise is out, they can cut the cake.
Kaveri agrees and cuts the cake. She says she used to feed the first piece to Rohit. Vidya brings Armaan forward and says, “Now Armaan is Rohit.” Kaveri feeds the first piece to Armaan.
Dance Performances and Hidden Feelings
Everyone starts dancing. First, Vidya and Madhav, then Sanjay and Kajal, followed by Manoj and Manisha, and then Manish and Swarna. After that, Armaan dances with Abhira, Aryan with Kiara, and Krish with Charu.
Ruhi also wants to dance, but Armaan refuses her. Armaan and Abhira keep an eye on Abhir and Charu. Armaan gets busy with Daksh, and Abhira dances with Ruhi.
Abhir and Charu’s Secret Talk Overheard
Taking this chance, Abhir and Charu meet. Charu asks if he talked to Kiara. Abhir says not yet. Charu says she will talk to her.
Their conversation is overheard by Krish, Kajal, and Swarna. Swarna says, “Abhir and Charu still love each other.” Krish says he won’t spare Abhir and starts following him.
