In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 2nd March 2025 Written Update, Armaan tells Vidya that he always heard that a mother gives everything to her child, but his mother took everything from him.
Kaveri tells Armaan to keep quiet and says whatever happened was good because he got the Poddar family name, a good education, good upbringing, and a successful career. Armaan says if she is counting her favors, she should count them all.
Armaan Reveals His Pain with a Jar of Toffee Wrappers
Armaan leaves and brings a jar full of toffee wrappers. He says Kaveri trained him like a pet by giving him toffees. He never threw away the wrappers because he thought they were a sign of Kaveri’s love. But in reality, Kaveri had left him in an orphanage.
Armaan says Kaveri always reminded him of her favors, never her love. He followed her because he was afraid of losing her love. He says he always thought well for this family and the company, but Kaveri kept him under the burden of her favors. She treated all the other children like her own but treated him like an outsider.
Armaan Rejects Kaveri’s Love
Armaan opens the jar of toffee wrappers and throws them on the floor. Then he gives the empty jar to Kaveri and says she can keep her love and blessings to herself.
Armaan Confronts Kaveri and Vidya’s Betrayal
Abhira asks Armaan to calm down, but he says how can he stay quiet when Kaveri and Vidya betrayed him and lied? One wanted to save the family name, and the other wanted to save her love. No one thought about him.
Armaan Shows Vidya Her Place in His Life
Armaan shows Vidya his wallet and says he keeps Abhira’s photo in the front and Vidya’s at the back. He shows Vidya her photo and says he never wanted to lose it. He always felt lucky that Vidya was his mother. Then he asks what kind of mother curses her own son’s marriage and what kind of mother ruins her son’s home for her own happiness.
Vidya Confesses Her Love, But Armaan Refuses to Accept It
Vidya tells Armaan that she loves him a lot. Armaan replies that Vidya only accepted him to get Madhav’s love. She made a deal with him, but now he doesn’t want to be in a deal anymore.
Armaan Declares Shivani as His Mother
Armaan tries to tear Vidya’s photo, but he can’t. Kaveri snatches the photo and tells him that he is unable to tear it because he is angry with Vidya.
Kaveri says Shivani lived in an ashram, and she will continue to live there. Vidya is the elder daughter-in-law of this house, Madhav’s wife, and Armaan’s mother.
Armaan stops Kaveri and says his mother is Shivani.
Armaan Breaks Ties with the Poddar Family
Kaveri tells Armaan that if he chooses Shivani, he will no longer be a part of the Poddar family or the Poddar firm.
Armaan breaks his Poddar firm ID card and gives Kaveri his wallet, watch, and money. Kaveri extends her hand, and Armaan also gives her his ring. Abhira also gives her ring.
Armaan tells Kaveri that her grandson used to fear her threats, but Shivani’s son will not.
Armaan and Abhira Decide to Leave Together
Rohit tries to stop Armaan and says he cannot leave like this. Manisha also tries to stop him.
Armaan asks Abhira if she will go with him because the journey ahead will be very difficult. Abhira replies that wherever Armaan stays, she will stay. Then she holds his hand.
